Our Cancellation Policy
Need to Cancel?
We understand—life happens. To provide consistent care and respect everyone’s time, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your (or your child’s) appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed without notice (no-show)—will be charged a $100 fee.
This fee ensures your provider is fairly compensated for the time and space reserved specifically for you. Unlike in many healthcare settings, your provider holds that day and time just for you each week, and often cannot offer it to another client on short notice.
Unfortunately, this fee cannot be billed to insurance and will be your responsibility.
We strongly encourage you to reach out as early as possible. In many cases, we can switch your session to Telehealth or help you reschedule—often avoiding the fee.
We understand that occasional disruptions happen. However, frequent late cancellations or missed appointments can make it difficult to maintain a therapeutic rhythm and may impact your continued care. In these situations, we’ll work with you to explore next steps, which may include pausing or discontinuing services until scheduling can be more consistent.
If you’re unsure what to do, just contact your provider or our intake team. We’re here to help!
