Blessings in a Backpack Food Drive
September Food Drive - Help Us Feed 250 Kids!
Collection Dates: September 1-30, 2025
Join Green Valley Therapy and our community partners in supporting Blessings in a Backpack Frederick, an organization that provides weekend food bags to local children who might otherwise go hungry when school meals aren't available.
Drop off non-perishable food items at one of the 5 locations below in the Blessings in a Backpack bin and we’ll get together on October 5th to pack the bags and deliver to kids in our area. Think about something that a kid would be able to open on their own and not need a can opener in order to access.
Our Goal: Pack 250 bags with 6-7 items in each bag (over 1,500 items!)

Out of Darkness Walk
Join the Green Valley Team as we walk together in the Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk on Saturday morning, October 11, 2025. As a therapy office, we understand firsthand the devastating impact of suicide on individuals, families, and communities, and we're committed to breaking the silence surrounding mental health struggles. This walk represents our dedication to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting those who have been affected by suicide loss or are currently facing mental health challenges. By participating, we're not only honoring the memory of those we've lost but also funding crucial research, education programs, and support services that save lives. Our team believes in the power of community, hope, and healing – values that are at the heart of both our therapeutic practice and this important cause. Together, we can make a difference and show that no one has to walk through their darkest moments alone. Please join us by signing up at https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/teams/374129 and help us create a world where mental health is prioritized and suicide is prevented.

Event Two
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
