I believe healing happens within family relationships, and I’m deeply committed to helping families navigate life’s challenges together.

If your family is working through trauma, anxiety, or depression, or you’re looking for ways to strengthen communication and build trust at home, I believe healing happens within family relationships, and I’m deeply committed to helping families navigate life’s challenges together.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) and a Connecticut native. I built my foundation in social work at the University of Connecticut, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree, before earning my Master’s Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. My professional journey has been shaped by meaningful work with diverse populations, including my time with community-based organizations like the Ryan White Project, serving people living with HIV/AIDS, and Women Aware, where I provided case management, psychoeducation, and group support to survivors of domestic violence.

For over five years, I’ve provided in-home therapeutic services to children and families, meeting families where they are to address immediate mental health and behavioral concerns while building skills for lasting positive change. I work with children, adolescents, and families who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I aim to create safe spaces for healing and growth.

My approach centers on empowerment, using a strengths-based framework that recognizes the inherent resilience within each family system. I partner with families to identify their unique strengths and develop strategies that honor their individual needs and circumstances. I integrate family therapy techniques with practical tools, including behavior management strategies, crisis prevention planning, and safety planning. Together, we’ll focus on strengthening communication, building trust, and fostering the collaborative problem-solving skills that help families thrive. If you’re ready to take that step as a family, I’d love to hear from you.

A little about me

When I’m not working with clients, I treasure time at home with my husband, son, and beloved dog. I find joy in life’s simple pleasures, like curling up with a good book, exploring new documentaries, or connecting with friends and family. These personal moments of connection and reflection shape my understanding of what truly matters in life and the empathy I bring to my work.

Finding the right fit is the most important part of therapy.
