Green Valley Therapy, LLC is a woman-owned group practice with a family forward mindset. Our mission is to create positive impact for individuals and families through a holistic lense of understanding their needs; mind, body and spirit. Our therapist have unique backgrounds that allow them to specialize in a variety of areas and each serves specific clients needs. As we continue to grow, Green Valley Therapy will continue to diversify our services to include alternative healing modalities including acupuncture, massage therapy, yoga/mindfulness training, etc. that in partnership with mental health services, allow for better, more integrative outcomes.

Available Roles Within Our Practice:

  • Position Overview: Green Valley Therapy is seeking Clinical Site Supervisors to support and

    oversee the clinical team at each of our site locations. This role offers an opportunity to diversify

    beyond 1:1 client care by providing leadership, supervision, and site-specific support to

    provisionally and fully licensed clinicians. Clinical Site Supervisors manage a caseload while

    providing weekly or monthly clinical supervision (depending on the clinician’s licensure),

    promoting professional growth, and fostering a positive and collaborative culture within their site.

    This position’s weekly hours will vary depending on the size and needs of the assigned site.

    While a supervisory license is not required at the time of hire, the site supervisor will be

    expected to obtain one within three months of starting the position.

    Reports to: Assistant Clinical Director

    Clinical Site Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities:

    ● Oversee and support provisionally (PLC) and fully licensed clinicians (FLC) assigned to

    your site.

    ○ Provide monthly clinical supervision (one-hour sessions) to one or more

    clinicians.

    ○ Monitor note quality, timeliness of notes, documentation standards, and overall

    clinical performance-including reviewing and co-signing clinical documentation for

    provisionally licensed clinicians.

    ○ Ensure supervised clinicians understand and follow all GVT policies, procedures,

    and clinical expectations.

    ○ Foster the clinical and professional development of clinicians through guidance,

    feedback, and collaborative problem-solving.

    ● Support new clinician onboarding, including monitoring clinicians in their 30, 60, and

    90-day introductory periods.

    ● Participate in monthly meetings with other Clinical Site Supervisors and the Assistant

    Clinical Director to discuss processes, support needs, and address site-specific updates.

    ● Rotate with other supervisors to facilitate monthly group supervision/case consultation

    for provisionally and fully licensed clinicians.

    ● Promote a positive, supportive, and growth-oriented culture within the assigned site and

    in connection to overall team culture.

    ● Monitor site supplies and general upkeep, addressing or reporting needs to support a

    clean, organized environment.

    ● Perform other related supervisory duties as assigned.

    Clinical Site Supervisor Hours Breakdown:

    Clinical Site Supervisors should expect the following average monthly time commitments based

    on the number and type of clinicians assigned.

    Provisionally Licensed Clinicians (PLCs)

    Supervisors spend approximately 7 hours per month per PLC. This total includes weekly

    supervision, documentation oversight, clinical availability, and ongoing case support.

    Fully Licensed Clinicians (FLCs)

    Supervisors spend approximately 3 hours per month per FLC. This total includes monthly

    meetings, consultation or training, leadership support, and addressing clinical or workflow needs

    as they arise.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    ● Clinical Site Supervisors are expected to consistently meet or exceed all clinical,

    documentation, and professional standards, including punctuality in reporting to work,

    attending sessions and meetings, submitting documentation, and responding to clinician

    needs.

    ● Must attend monthly staff and supervisor meetings.

    ● Must demonstrate consistent professionalism for 3–6 months following the resolution of

    any performance concerns, with the duration determined by the significance of the issue.

    ● Must have been employed at Green Valley Therapy for at least 6 months.

    ● Must have an eagerness to work hard and invest in the team as well as the growth of

    Green Valley Therapy.

    ● Must have a passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team

    members grow and learn. Aka, be a team player!

    ● Must be present at their site at least 2 days a week; available via phone, text, or Google

    Meets during telework days. Available/On-Call for crisis support of a clinician

    encountering a high-risk client situation (SI, HI, EAP, CPS, etc).

    ● Must have the ability to receive and provide straightforward feedback to leadership and

    clinical team members in a candid and kind manner.

    ● Must be organized and detail-oriented.

    ● Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight, taking full accountability for

    outcomes. Should make sound, independent decisions regarding the clinical support of

    provisionally licensed staff and recognize when to involve the Assistant/Clinical Director.

    ● Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

    complex situations (i.e., DCFS, crisis)

    ● You have a growth mindset and feel strongly about supporting the development of

    others.

    ● Able to take direct and constructive feedback and apply it to change behavior.

    ● Able to make tough decisions, have difficult conversations, and lead in a radically candid

    way.

    This position is not right for you if you are:

    ● Someone whose primary motivation is increased pay rather than meaningful

    engagement with the work. We are all about therapists making more...it just can’t be the

    primary reason for seeking the role.

    ● Someone who does not feel passion for our mission, vision, and values.

    ● Someone who does not demonstrate a collaborative mindset or engage effectively as

    part of a team.

    ○ Examples may include consistently missing staff meetings, case consultations, or

    team activities.

    ● Someone who is unwilling to contribute to team efforts and take on tasks to support the

    team as collaboration and teamwork are highly valued.

    ● Someone who struggles to receive feedback about themself or their performance and

    trends toward defensiveness and resistance to change.

    ● Someone who plans to start their own business in the near future are not the best fit for

    this role. While we fully support entrepreneurial goals, Green Valley Therapy invests

  • The Child and Family Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families. The primary focus is to facilitate healing and growth by addressing various challenges, from behavioral and emotional difficulties to family conflict.


    Key Responsibilities include:

    1. Clinical Services:

      - Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the client's needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

      - Provide individual, group, and family therapy based on the specific needs of the client.

      - Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

    2. Collaboration:

      - Collaborate with other professionals, such as school staff, physicians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.

      - Participate in team meetings to discuss case progress and treatment approaches.

    3. Documentation & Record Keeping:

      - Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records in accordance with state regulations and agency policy.

      - Document sessions, progress notes, treatment plans, and any correspondence related to the client's care within 48 hours of client contact.

    4. Continued Education & Training:

      - Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and research in the field of child and family therapy.

      - Attend mandatory training sessions and pursue additional professional development opportunities.

    5. Ethical Practice:  

      - Adhere to the professional and ethical guidelines set forth by the professional standards (NASW, NBCC, AAMFT).

    6. Community Outreach:

      - Participate in community events, workshops, and seminars to promote mental health awareness and the services of the practice.

      - Create content including blogs that provide knowledge to client base and promote practice recognition within communities.

    Qualifications:

    - Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

    - State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or equivalent.

    - Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

    - Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, especially those effective with the younger population (ie play therapy, art therapy, narrative therapy, TF-CBT, IFS, etc.)

    - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.


    Preferred:

    - Specialized training or certification in child and adolescent therapy.

    - Bilingual or multilingual skills.


    Physical Requirements:

    - Ability to sit for extended periods during therapy sessions.

    - Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers.
