Hi there and welcome! I am Heather, your friendly intake coordinator at Green Valley Therapy! I have always felt a strong calling to help others and obtained my bachelor degree in social work from the university of Maryland, Baltimore County. I took my calling to support others one step further, by completing my Masters degree from the University of Maryland in Palliative Care and Hospice. I have a strong background in the medical field of social work, including working in various social work positions in hospitals, nursing homes, primary care settings, and hospice services. I have a special interest in our senior population, fostered by my incredible and close relationship I was lucky enough to have with my own Nana. What has brought me to Green Valley Therapy, is the opportunity to provide support and assistance to those in our local community in need of services. Life is hard, we all need help at times and a compassionate and kind place to receive that support. I feel Confident that Green Valley Therapy can offer that. My goal here, is to welcome you and make you feel right at home.
