Ericka is a Licensed Social Worker with experience working with families and individuals ages five and up.
She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, and received her Master’s degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
Ericka specializes in a range of therapeutic techniques to support mental health and well-being. She integrates play therapy techniques, using classic games and video games, to engage clients in a comfortable and therapeutic process.
Additionally, Ericka incorporates art therapy techniques to facilitate emotional expression and healing. She also relies on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to challenge and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns.
Ericka has experience working with clients dealing with ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, and trauma. She describes her approach as client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys hanging with her three cats, exploring the outdoors, painting, watching TV, and playing video games.
