Becky Marksteiner is a dedicated clinician who brings a thoughtful, integrative approach to her practice. Since obtaining her master's degree in social work in 2013, she has built a career focused on supporting children, young adults, and families through life's challenges. Dually licensed in Virginia and Maryland, Becky draws on her rich background in child welfare to inform her therapeutic work.
Her professional journey includes valuable experience as a Child and Family therapist with a community mental health agency in Virginia, where she developed expertise working with children and young adults from diverse backgrounds and with various diagnoses. What truly sets Becky apart is her passion for helping those who have experienced trauma. She is deeply committed to trauma-informed care and places tremendous value on creating safe spaces where both children and adults can find healing.
She brings special understanding to clinical issues surrounding adoption and offers compassionate guidance to children and families navigating the adoption process.
Beyond her professional life, Becky finds balance and joy through time spent outdoors. Whether hiking through nature trails, tending to her garden, or simply enjoying moments with her family and three beloved dogs, she embraces the restorative power of connection with nature and loved ones.
