If you or your child has experienced trauma, or your family is navigating adoption, I understand how much it matters to feel safe.
If you or your child has experienced trauma, or your family is navigating the adoption process, I understand how much it matters to feel safe. Helping those who have experienced trauma is my passion.
Since earning my master’s degree in social work in 2013, I’ve built a career focused on supporting children, young adults, and families through life’s challenges. I’m dually licensed in Virginia and Maryland, and my background in child welfare informs my therapeutic work. I also worked as a Child and Family therapist with a community mental health agency in Virginia, where I gained experience working with children and young adults from diverse backgrounds and with various diagnoses.
I bring a thoughtful, integrative approach to my practice. I’m deeply committed to trauma-informed care and place tremendous value on creating safe spaces where both children and adults can find healing. I also bring a special understanding to clinical issues surrounding adoption and offer compassionate guidance to children and families navigating the adoption process. If you’re looking for that kind of support for yourself or your family, I’d love to hear from you.
Beyond my professional life, I find balance and joy through time spent outdoors, whether I’m hiking nature trails, tending to my garden, or simply enjoying moments with my family and three beloved dogs. I embrace the restorative power of connection with nature and loved ones.
Finding the right fit is the most important part of therapy.
Whether you’d like to request a specific therapist or let us match you with the next available specialist tailored to your needs, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
