It can be terrifying to be truly known. I hope to create a space where you’re met with acceptance and kindness, and where we celebrate your wins together.
For many of us, it is terrifying to be truly known for fear that we will be met with rejection and judgment rather than acceptance and kindness. That’s why I seek, first and foremost, to provide restorative relational experiences with each client I encounter. I hope to create a space in which you can explore the painful and vulnerable parts of yourself with curiosity, compassion, and courage, and forge a way to a life that is meaningful and values-led. I also love to celebrate progress and wins with clients!
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor. I obtained a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grace College and have been practicing since 2022. I began my counseling career working at a psychiatric inpatient hospital and then transitioned to community mental health outpatient counseling before joining Green Valley Therapy.
I have a particular passion and interest in helping individuals who are navigating life with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief/loss, relational challenges, and attachment wounds. I enjoy helping clients foster deeper self-awareness of their internal experiences and learn to regulate their nervous system.
I use a trauma-informed lens to provide a safe and intentional space for healing and have received clinical training in the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP) 5 Narrative Method to support clients in overcoming trauma that inhibits their ability to live a fully present and fulfilled life. My clinical approach also infuses other therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate the challenges and celebrate the joys of life.
Outside of my role as a counselor, I love a good cup of light roast coffee; spending time with my husband, family, and friends; serving at my church; reading; snuggling with my beagle, Kaija; and running (because it feels like flying on your feet)!
Finding the right fit is the most important part of therapy.
Whether you’d like to request a specific therapist or let us match you with the next available specialist tailored to your needs, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
