My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, consistency, and connection. I specialize in working with kids, teens, and young adults navigating big emotions, tough transitions, or moments when the world just feels hard to handle.
Whether you’re:
▪️A young person struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, or low self-esteem,
▪️A teen navigating peer stress, identity questions, or family tension,
▪️A parent looking for support around emotional regulation, behavior challenges, or school issues,
▪️A college student facing burnout, pressure to perform, or feelings of disconnection…
…I aim to create a space where young people feel seen, respected, and safe to show up as their full selves, whether they’re talkative, quiet, silly, skeptical, or somewhere in between.
What I Bring to Our Work Together:
▪️A developmentally attuned approach that adapts to each stage of childhood and adolescence.
▪️A playful, creative lens for younger kids and a collaborative, strengths-based style for teens and young adults.
▪️Experience supporting clients with trauma, attachment disruptions, and emotional dysregulation.
▪️Tools from evidence-based approaches like CBT, play therapy, and mindfulness, blended with a relational foundation.
▪️A commitment to working closely with parents and caregivers when appropriate, without losing sight of the child or teen’s voice.

In her therapeutic practice, Rossana draws from a comprehensive toolkit of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic approaches, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques, and solution-focused interventions.
Rossana's primary area of expertise centers on supporting children and families who have experienced trauma, understanding that young people often need specialized approaches to process difficult experiences. She also specializes in helping young clients work through depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and behavioral concerns. Her approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with genuine warmth and understanding, creating a safe and welcoming space where children feel heard, valued, and empowered to express themselves and grow.
