Therapy can be an opportunity to slow down, reflect inward, and understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that influence your everyday life. I believe in creating a supportive, compassionate space where teenagers and adults can feel heard, understood, and empowered to better understand themselves.
I earned my master's degree in social work from Shippensburg University, and I bring a diverse clinical background, with experience working with a range of mental health concerns and diagnoses, including ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety.
As a mental health therapist, I work with you to navigate life's challenges, build self-awareness, and develop meaningful strategies for growth and change. I take a strengths-based approach, helping you recognize the abilities, resilience, and personal strengths you already possess. My goal is to help you build upon those strengths while developing practical tools to move toward the life you want. I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma processing, and solution-focused therapy into my work, tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs, experiences, and goals.
I view therapy as a collaborative journey and strive to meet each client with empathy, openness, and respect. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding yourself, recognizing your strengths, and discovering new ways to navigate life's challenges. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to hear from you.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and loved ones and making time for activities that bring me joy and balance. I love being outdoors, staying active through exercise, exploring new foods and experiences, and enjoying the present moment.
